Privacy Policy

Plain English summary

We collect the minimum information needed to deliver the products you bought from us — name, email, phone, business details, and (via Stripe) payment information. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with anyone except the third-party services we need to actually run the business (Stripe, Calendly, Google Workspace, our email and database providers). You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Who we are

Truckee AI is a sole proprietorship operated by Cleve Langford, based in Truckee, California, United States. For any privacy-related questions, email cleve@truckeeai.com.

What we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact information you give us: name, email address, phone number, business name, business website. Collected via our Quiz form, Stripe checkout, Calendly bookings, and any email correspondence.
  • Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. We do receive the last 4 digits, billing ZIP, and Stripe's customer ID for our records.
  • Call and meeting content: intake calls for the AI Blueprint are recorded with your knowledge and consent. Transcripts and recordings are used to produce your Blueprint and are stored securely (Google Drive and our database).
  • Quiz answers: when you complete our Quiz, we store your answers and the matched persona to personalize follow-up content.
  • Usage and technical data: we use privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible) that collects aggregated, anonymized site usage data. We do not use Google Analytics or other tracking tools that build personal profiles.

How we use it

  • To deliver the products and services you bought (Blueprint, Membership, Agent Build, Coaching, Live shows).
  • To communicate with you about your purchase, scheduling, and delivery.
  • To send follow-up emails related to products you've purchased (e.g., a Day-3 check-in after Blueprint delivery).
  • To send marketing emails ONLY if you've opted in (Quiz signup, newsletter subscription, or live show registration). You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To improve our products and services based on aggregated usage patterns.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum data required with the following service providers:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Calendly — appointment scheduling
  • Google Workspace — email, calendar, document storage
  • Supabase — secure database storage
  • Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — email marketing (only if you opted in)
  • Anthropic (Claude API) — AI analysis of your Blueprint transcript
  • Vercel — website hosting
  • Zapier — workflow automation between these tools

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or any party not listed above.

How long we keep it

  • Active customer records: for the duration of our business relationship plus 7 years for tax and accounting compliance.
  • Quiz takers who didn't become customers: 24 months, then anonymized.
  • Marketing email subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
  • Call recordings and transcripts: 24 months, then deleted unless you've requested longer retention.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (some records may be retained for legal/tax purposes).
  • Withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time (unsubscribe link in every email).
  • Object to specific uses of your data.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you're a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to opt out of any "sale" of personal information (we don't sell data, but you have the right regardless), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise any CCPA/CPRA right, email cleve@truckeeai.com.

EU residents (GDPR)

If you're in the European Union, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. The legal basis for our processing is contract performance (delivering what you bought), legitimate interest (improving our business), or consent (marketing emails). Cookies

We use minimal cookies — primarily session cookies required for the site to function and Plausible's anonymous analytics. We don't use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or Google Analytics. We don't display a cookie banner because we don't need consent for the cookies we use.

Children

Our services are for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, email us and we'll delete it.

Security

We protect your data using industry-standard security practices: TLS encryption in transit, encrypted database storage, restricted access to production systems, and no shared accounts. We do not store credit card numbers — that's handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify active customers by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
