Terms of Service
Plain English summary
When you buy something from Truckee AI, we agree to deliver what we promised, and you agree to pay for it. We can't promise specific business outcomes (no one honestly can). We will refund you if our flagship products don't meet what we describe on the website. We can stop working with you if you do something abusive or illegal, and you can stop working with us anytime. California law applies if there's ever a real disagreement.

Who you're agreeing with
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are between you (the "Customer") and Truckee AI, a sole proprietorship operated by Cleve Langford, based in Truckee, California ("we," "us," or "Truckee AI"). By purchasing or using any product or service from us, you agree to these Terms.
What we sell
Our products include:
- AI Readiness Quiz — a free assessment that returns a personalized PDF.
- The AI Blueprint — a $999 one-time engagement including a 45-minute intake call (via Zoom) and a written PDF report delivered within 24 hours.
- Hermes Membership — a $97/month subscription for an installed AI agent, monthly office hours, and member community.
- Telegram Agent Build / Live DFY Build — custom AI agent development ($2,500+ one-time, plus mandatory 3-month care plan at $300/month for Telegram builds).
- AI Coaching — a $399/month subscription for 1-on-1 coaching, prompt library access, and priority support.
- Live Shows and Workshops — periodically offered, with pricing announced per event.

Payment and pricing
- All prices are in U.S. Dollars and exclude any applicable sales tax.
- One-time products are charged at purchase via Stripe.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly on the same date as your initial purchase. Cancel anytime from your customer portal or by emailing cleve@truckeeai.com.
- Failed subscription payments will be retried automatically by Stripe. After 3 failed attempts over 14 days, the subscription will be paused.
- The Telegram Agent Build product requires a 3-month minimum on the care plan. The care plan is mandatory for the first 3 months and month-to-month after that.
What we promise
- To deliver the products we describe on the website, in the form described.
- To respond to your communications within one business day during US business hours.
- To respect your data per our Privacy Policy.
- To honor our published Refund Policy.
What we don't promise
- Specific business outcomes. AI is a tool. We can't promise you'll save a specific number of hours, close a specific number of deals, or make a specific amount of money. We describe typical results based on past clients, but your mileage will vary based on your business, your effort to implement, and external factors.
- Zero downtime. AI agents depend on third-party services that change. We commit to monitoring and rapid response (see our care plan), but not 100% uptime.
- That AI replaces human judgment. Anything an AI agent produces on your behalf is your responsibility to review before acting on it. We don't accept liability for actions an agent takes that you didn't review.
Your responsibilities
By using our products, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information during onboarding (business details, integrations, credentials when applicable).
- Review any agent-generated output before sending it externally, especially in customer-facing contexts.
- Not use our products for any illegal purpose, to harm others, to violate intellectual property, or to violate the terms of any third-party services we connect to (Gmail, Slack, MLS, etc.).
- Not share, resell, or redistribute our deliverables (Blueprints, prompts, agent configurations) without our written permission.
- Maintain a Hermes Membership in good standing to retain access to ongoing services and templates included with Membership.
What you own / what we own
- You own: the deliverables we produce specifically for your business (your Blueprint PDF, custom agent configurations built for you, Loom walkthroughs we recorded for you). You can use, modify, and adapt these as you see fit.
- We own: our core intellectual property — our templates, frameworks, the Sierra voice agent system, the Claude analysis prompts, our website code, our brand, our methodologies. You don't get rights to these even if your custom deliverable was built on top of them.
- Anonymized case studies: we may reference your engagement in anonymized case studies (no names, no specific identifying details) unless you opt out by email.
Excluded industries
We do not provide products or services for healthcare, legal practice, financial advisory, or any business requiring industry-specific regulatory compliance (HIPAA, FINRA, state bar requirements, etc.). If you operate in one of these industries and purchase a product, we may refund you and decline to deliver. We don't have the compliance infrastructure to serve these verticals responsibly.
Cancellation and termination
You can cancel anytime. For subscriptions, cancel from your account portal or email us. For one-time products, cancellation means refund eligibility per our Refund Policy.
We can decline or terminate service if you: violate these Terms, are abusive to us or our team, request work that's illegal or harmful, or fail to pay. If we terminate, we'll refund any unused portion of a subscription pro rata.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Truckee AI's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our products is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if we've been advised of the possibility.
This limitation does not apply to gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Truckee AI harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of our products, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights — including any actions taken on your behalf by an AI agent we built for you, where you failed to review or supervise the agent's output.
Dispute resolution
We prefer to resolve disagreements directly. If you have a complaint, email cleve@truckeeai.com and we'll work it out.
If informal resolution fails, disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of California and resolved in the courts of Nevada County, California. You and Truckee AI both waive any right to a jury trial.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email. Continued use of our products after notice constitutes acceptance.
